Our Mayflower Wedding

Our "dear" friends had even more planned than we thought!

We innocently arrived at said Rally, signed in and discovered that everyone sporting this years rally t shirt would have us on their backs for life! What a lovely gesture we thought. Snigger, snigger from the rest of the Mayflower, we were the only ones not in the know!

"Tracey, could I have a quick word?" Paula said. Oh dear, has someone parked in the wrong place? I thought. At the same time Brian sat down with Dick...for a chat!??

Having been escorted to the shower room by Paula, I was introduced to the reverend Tony. Our very own revving reverend, who looked so much the part that I am sure he has missed his vocation. Also there to give me me away, as father of the club was Bob and lastly but certainly not leastly my blushing bridesmaid - Brian! With Sue acting as minder on the door I assisted my lovely bridesmaid to dress. She was having trouble with her suspenders! Isn't that wrong? Isn't it the bridesmaid that dresses the bride? Ooops, second thoughts No, best the way it was!!!!

The wedding procession walked toward the groom. Yes, he was suitably "stitched up" well done to all involved.

There then followed a most apt Mayflower marriage ceremony, conducted by a very eerily, believable vicar Tony. The whole thing was great, I had two perfect weddings. I'm not sure that the bridesmaid is supposed to upstage the bride but as was Brian, that's allowed! The full ceremony is caught on video.
