August is approaching

August approaches, the month we had always intended leaving the UK but before that we throw in a great bike trip, to the Stella Alpina Rally with Brian and Phyl. That's one way to rest the brain cells !?

The big trip is now sorted as fa as it can be. We weren't meant to leave from England for Pakistan. Not only was the weather timing for the rest of the trip wrong, upon trying arrange the flights, we could get out but not back! Mahmood put us on to a chap called Cyril. After a chat with Cyril telling him our predicament, he came up with a resolve. Drive to Turkey as planned, then fly out of Istanbul to Islamabad. On returning to Istanbul we could then resume our trip. The deal was done and once other arrangements to facilitate this option were in place, at last I could stop racking my brains. As always, where there is will, there is a way.
