Back home after a fabulous weekend, it was time to start seriously packing Fay. Richard thought that what Fay needed was some new accessories for her trip, a holiday wardrobe! Well she's already had a new fridge; she's a cool chic. A solar panel to run all her new gadgets and just in case a heater to keep her warm hearted. Now for some bling....oh dear she now sports a bright yellow smiley on her new nose. Didn't I mention her nose job? Well if you can't loose your spare tyre, just move it! Carefully chosen kitch stickers duly arrived. Not sure when we're going to find the time to put them on? This could be an in transit project, whilst we are parked up in the sun somewhere with nothing to do.
The busiest week and Richard developers a sore throat, cough and cold! Be stoic and soldier on. Rather strange diet this week as we use up the contents of the fridge and freezer, some questionable combinations. We finished with a BBQ with the kids, not quite sure what that was laying forgotten at the bottom of the freezer but covered in sauce and bbq'd it was fine!
Then came notification that work were to receive a full CQC inspection next week. That really did put me in a spin. Should we postpone leaving, should I go back into work, I trust the staff totally to do a good job but feel guilty about leaving to face such an ordeal. Damn it! I can't concentrate on the trip because of work but know trying to concentrate on work would be an equal challenge because of the trip! I am in a spin. This and Richard's cold cause us not to be ready to leave on the 8th.
